Smart-Shed Scholarships

As parents and a life-long small town residents, we feel there is nothing more important than family and community. As the demand for skilled trade workers continues to grow, we want to do our part in helping young people realize the incredible opportunities that are available to those who enjoy working with their hands!

We will allocate $100 per building to the 'Smart-Shed Scholarship fund'. This fund will be paid out once per year in the form of scholarship(s) to Upper Peninsula Students who have the desire to pursue a career in trade work. The funds may be used for tuition, schooling, books, travel, housing and any related expenses geared towards a student who wishes to pursue technical schooling or an apprenticeship program. Funds will be allocated on an application basis. 

As we work out the logistics of the scholarship fund, we have created an escrow account for the funds to be held and hope to offer scholarships to graduates in 2024.
